Hi, I am Jess

boy mom, fine art graduate, alternative process artist, natural light + studio light Photographer

My passion is creating works of art with my camera body and lens...

Capturing the light, the scene, the moment - creating a memory

that can be revisited again and again.

Light seeker.

I started my photographic journey with a 1982 Pentax ME that was gifted to me by my father before he passed away. I have always appreciated photographs, but 35 mm film and working for countless hours in the darkroom enchanted me. I decided to go back to school and pursue my Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from the Ohio State University. I have a deep interest in some of the earliest forms of photography; salt-printing, collodion, cyanotype, and gum printing, as well as studio lighting, medium and large-format photography, and other alternative processes. What I've learned at my time in the BFA program is my love for light, high dynamic range, stunning scenes, creamy bokeh and beautiful compositions.

Our Philosophy

Photographs have the power to move you. To capture a moment in time that would be fleeting, for you to cherish forever. As an artist first and photographer second, I strive to create beautiful artfully composed images. Furthermore, I love the connection I make with each and everyone of my clients- learning about your stories, and documenting a moment in the history of you.
Allow me to capture those beautiful, fleeting moments in your life.
